You can also download the MPF source code from https://svn.appscio.com/svn/MPF/trunk (note; also requires https://svn.appscio.com/svn/GRDF/trunk/grdf).  To build MPF from source in a local development environment:

• cd [grdf working copy]
• ./autogen.sh
• make
• cd [MPF/trunk working copy]
• ./setup.sh
• ./build-all --no-install
